She tells about her parents, her marriage to E.S. McClellan, that she gave birth to 11 children and about becoming a Christian. She states that she hopes the “circle will be unbroken up in heaven is my prayer.” A photocopy of this letter in found on page 129 of hte book, The Elijah Shanklin McClellan Family from 13th Century Scotland to Twenty-first Century America by Billy and Joy McClellan, November, 2008. The original of this one page, handwritten letter is in the possession of Billy Lynn McClellan, her grandson, and son of Lester Archer McClellan, her eighth child of eleven children.
