Lottie Frances McClellan was a quiet, but alert person who was gentle and unassuming. She passed a “teacher’s examination” and taught in the public schools for a short time. She was a very religious person, with habits of daily Bible reading and prayer. She listened to religious programs on the radio often. She was ready with suggestions, counsel, and teaching to any who would listen.
